The Team You'll Work With

Reporting to the Head of Events in the Demand Generation organization, you’ll  be joining our Events team to focus on growing and evolving our Virtual Events program.

The Virtual Events team develops and executes journeys that usher prospects and customers from awareness to purchase to advocacy, optimizing for return on investment. We are a revenue generating arm of the Marketing organization, and are an internal leverage to support growth. This team is a high impact and high visibility unit. We are an instrumental part of Carta’s growth in North America, APAC, UK, and the Middle East; and serve events with thousands of registrations weekly.

In this role, you will work closely with subject matter experts across our exec team, Brand, Demand Generation, Lifecycle Marketing, Product Marketing, Web, Sales Enablement, Social, Business Development, and Public Relations to curate, deliver, and scale programming. Over time, you will shape the future of Carta’s content pipeline and hosted event programming.

  • Lead and oversee virtual event production, providing strategic guidance and ensuring the flawless execution of all technical, logistical, and operational components to drive successful outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a business priorities-aligned  VE production calendar and schedule of events, aligning with strategic objectives and optimal resource allocation
  • Work alongside cross-functional partners to curate pithy, on-brand content and source high-caliber internal and external speakers
  • Partner with demand generation and lifecycle teams to promote and drive viewership of on-demand, simulive and real time virtual events with target audiences
  • Drive  post-event motions that convert high quality leads into MQLs and marketing opt-ins, partnering with marketing operations and sales on coordinated follow up 
  • Lead the collection, analysis, and maintenance of event data to continuously refine and elevate offerings.
  • Own the tracking and reporting of Virtual Event program KPIs to marketing  leadership and stakeholders 
  • Develop and implement scalable solutions to streamline production workflows, facilitate handoffs,  and ensure reporting accuracy. 
  • Partner with the Live Events team to provide planning support and contribute to the successful execution of live events, as needed.

About You

You are a change agent with experience of bringing people together, building out scalable processes, and iterating quickly in ambiguity. This person excels at balancing strategic planning with execution and is skilled at navigating complex cross-functional 

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient in using various MarTech tools for reporting, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong analytical mindset, applying a data-driven approach to inform key decisions
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a deep understanding of what makes great content
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external speakers as the primary point of contact for virtual events
  • At least 6 years of experience, including 3 years of  experience in project management or virtual event production
  • Experience with event platforms such as Sequel (or equivalent) preferred
  • Fluent at navigating Salesforce and Looker or similar CRM and data visualization tools
  • Live event experience is a plus

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:

$110,500 - $162,000 in San Francisco, CA and New York, NY

$105,000 - $153,900 in Seattle, WA.

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
