About the Role: 

Reporting into the CRO, we’re seeking a Global Director, Enterprise Sales to lead and scale Redpanda's global enterprise sales organization. This is a critical leadership role that requires deep experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams in technical enterprise software, preferably in cloud-native or data infrastructure sectors.

As Global Director, Enterprise Sales, you will be responsible for defining strategy, developing go-to-market execution, driving predictable revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes.

Scope of Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and expand Redpanda’s enterprise sales team across regions and verticals
  • Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for enterprise accounts
  • Develop and implement scalable sales processes, KPIs, and forecasting methodologies
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to align enterprise GTM strategy
  • Cultivate relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies
  • Establish a metrics-driven sales culture with clear accountability and transparency
  • Drive strategic deals from inception to close, especially in key target verticals like finance, media, and security
  • Hire, mentor, and retain world-class sales talent to support aggressive growth targets

Position Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales leadership experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and scaling teams of 5+ individuals 
  • Proven experience selling complex, technical products to enterprise buyers (e.g., CIOs, VPs of Engineering, Architects)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence product roadmap and GTM initiatives
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • MEDDIC

Nice to Have: 

  • Background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms
  • Experience in both early-stage startups and scaling post-Series B+ organizations
  • Familiarity with open-source business models and developer-first sales motions
  • Experience expanding into international markets
  • Force management or challenger training

U.S. base salary range for this role is $200,000, not including bonus and/or commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary.
