Job Title: VP, Finance Systems
Location: Remote
Position SummaryLeads the strategy, governance, and delivery of enterprise finance technology solutions. Oversees the Finance Systems team and drives modernization initiatives across financial systems, data platforms, reporting, and analytics to support scalable, efficient, and controlled financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Finance Systems team and oversee the Workday Financials platform.
- Define and execute the finance systems and data strategy roadmap.
- Partner across Finance, IT, and business teams to modernize financial systems and enable advanced analytics.
- Lead finance-related technology initiatives, including data warehouse and enterprise data governance efforts.
- Ensure strong controls, compliance, and data integrity across finance systems and processes.
- Oversee system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and reporting optimization initiatives.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and AI-ready data capabilities.
- Support adoption through change management, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems leadership.
- Experience leading finance transformation and system implementation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, planning, and close processes.
- Experience managing teams, cross-functional projects, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- CPA, MBA, or other advanced degree.
- Experience with Workday, Snowflake, ERP systems, or enterprise data platforms.
- Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.
