Our goal is to encourage people to make lasting memories, forge new connections, and embark on new adventures through our platform of curated experiences. Our vibrant community of explorers relies on us to help them find the coolest events and experiences any day of the week.

The Opportunity

As Vice President of Product, you will help shape the future of Bucket Listers' product ecosystem, translating bold ideas into scalable products that enhance how millions of people discover, book, and experience unforgettable events.

This role goes far beyond owning a product roadmap. You will define the strategic direction of our platform, partnering closely with Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Business Intelligence, and executive leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and bring innovative solutions to market. You will balance long-term vision with disciplined execution, ensuring our products evolve alongside the needs of our customers, partners, and rapidly growing business.

We're looking for a leader who sees product as a competitive advantage. You'll challenge assumptions, uncover new opportunities, and build the frameworks that allow teams to move quickly, make smarter decisions, and execute with confidence.

We're a remote-first company and open on location, though we'd especially welcome candidates in the greater New York City area who are excited to connect in person and collaborate with leadership live.

The base salary range for this role is $210,000-$240,000. Our ranges are set using competitive market data for companies of our size, stage, and industry. Where a candidate lands within the range depends on their experience and location.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define and own Bucket Listers' product vision, strategy, and roadmap, balancing customer needs, technical investment, operational efficiency, and revenue opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Operations, Business Intelligence, and executive leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver products that drive measurable business impact.
  • Measure product performance through KPIs, analytics, and customer insights, continuously optimizing the customer experience and business impact.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from customer discovery and business case development through launch, iteration, and ongoing optimization.
  • Build scalable product management processes, fostering collaboration, accountability, and efficient decision-making across cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and champion emerging technologies (including AI and automation) to improve the customer experience, increase operational efficiency, and create competitive advantage.
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, and progress to executive leadership and key stakeholders while influencing strategic decisions across the organization.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing Product team, creating a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Product Leadership: 8+ years leading product strategy or product management within consumer technology, marketplaces, e-commerce, travel, ticketing, or experiential businesses.

  • Customer Focus: Proven ability to identify customer needs and translate insights into products that drive engagement, retention, and business growth.
