About the Role

The VP of Product Management is a key leader within the organization and is responsible for translating SBT’s strategic vision into an executable and scalable product strategy that drives meaningful business outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role serves as the operational and organizational engine of the Product function, balancing long range vision with hands on leadership to ensure SBT’s portfolio meets the evolving needs of enterprise customers in highly regulated industries.


This leader oversees all product lines across messaging, payments and communication workflows, shaping the roadmap to accelerate market adoption while ensuring that each release aligns with measurable performance, financial impact and customer value.


As the head of the product organization, the VP mentors and develops product managers, strengthens Agile practices and fosters cross functional alignment with Engineering, Compliance, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success and Operations. This role requires a product executive who thrives in a growth environment and is comfortable operating strategically at the enterprise level while also engaging tactically when needed to support a fast moving, high impact product organization.


Key Responsibilities

Product Leadership and Strategy

  • Own and drive the end to end product strategy and roadmap across all product lines ensuring alignment with company goals, customer needs and industry trends.
  • Translate SBT’s high level vision into clearly defined product initiatives that balance innovation, compliance and commercial impact.
  • Establish and maintain a portfolio strategy grounded in market research, customer insights, competitive analysis and enterprise customer demands.
  • Partner closely with the Chief Product Officer to define strategic priorities, portfolio investments and long term product evolution.

 

Scaling Enterprise Adoption and Business Impact

  • Demonstrate a strong record of scaling commercial adoption of enterprise software offerings supported by meaningful revenue, growth and usage metrics.
  • Set, measure and continuously optimize performance metrics for product lines and software releases ensuring clear linkage to overall business growth and success.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to support go to market motions, enterprise onboarding, pricing strategies and customer expansion initiatives.

 

Execution and Cross Functional Alignment

  • Lead the product organization through the full software development lifecycle ensuring consistent execution excellence in partnership with Engineering.
  • Drive adoption of Agile methodologies, product operations frameworks and structured processes that improve delivery efficiency and transparency.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment across all stakeholders including executive leadership with clarity around priorities, tradeoffs and timelines.
  • Champion the use of data, experimentation and insights to inform decisions, refine product direction and validate market fit.

 

Industry and Domain Expertise

  • Bring deep experience in software and communication technologies including solutions that facilitate secure and compliant interactions between businesses and consumers such as CPaaS, messaging, bill pay or conversational commerce platforms.
  • Possess meaningful experience serving enterprise customers within financial services including banking, fintech, lending, collections or payment processing.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory shifts, carrier requirements and technology advancements that influence SBT’s product strategy.

 

Team Leadership and Organizational Development

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing product team fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and customer centric thinking.
  • Guide product leaders in building strong specifications, roadmaps, discovery approaches and execution plans.
  • Strengthen product management discipline across the organization with clear processes, documentation and decision making frameworks.
  • Cultivate cross functional collaboration and a strong partnership model across Engineering, UX, Compliance, Operations and go to market teams.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Product Management within B2B SaaS, fintech, communications or related technology industries.
  • Demonstrated success scaling enterprise software adoption and delivering measurable financial and usage outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of communication platforms, messaging technologies, payments or CPaaS ecosystems.
  • Experience leading product teams and developing Agile processes across the software development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to set, measure and optimize performance metrics tied directly to product and business success.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex strategies with clarity.
  • Expertise working with enterprise customers in regulated industries, particularly financial services.
    Strategic thinker with the ability to engage in tactical execution when needed to support team success.Analytical and data driven mindset with strong problem solving and prioritization abilities.
