Senior product leader to define and launch a premium subscription for a mobile consumer app. Own go/no-go decisions, pricing and paywall strategy, product marketing, growth (organic/PLG), QA scaling, commerce reliability, data-driven user analysis, and AI tooling integration while coaching PMs and partnering with engineering and commercial teams to drive delivery and launch outcomes.

Paceline is looking for a senior product leader to own our product strategy and personally drive the launch of our premium subscription offering — the foundation for our future personalized financial products that synergize users’ health & fitness with real financial benefits. This is a player-coach role: you'll set direction across the product org while operating hands-on as the subscription product owner, running delivery day to day. You will partner with our CPO, CTO, and our product managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Define the launch product, set the go/no-go criteria and decisions, and drive the team to ship with urgency and clarity.
  • Lead pricing strategy, tier and paywall design, and conversion experimentation.
  • Build out product marketing: positioning, messaging, packaging, and launch motions.
  • Partner with engineering to expand and harden our QA practice as we scale across a broader range of users, devices, and wearables.
  • Lead organic and product-led growth — ASO, lifecycle, referral, and retention — without relying on paid UA.
  • Set roadmap direction, mentor and level up our PM team, and partner closely with engineering leads across our core product verticals.
  • Bring operational rigor to our commerce, rewards, and offers surfaces so they stay reliable, not just shipped.
  • Lead our understanding of user behavior through directly operating data analysis and visualization in collaboration with our data team
  • Advocate for the users’ experience in our roadmap and priorities.
  • Lead by example the integration of AI tooling as a means to accelerate and enhance our feature development and operations.
  • Work closely with the adjacent functions of brand marketing, performance marketing, and commercial to ensure that our products enhance our social contract with users and our company’s business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience growing a mobile consumer app primarily through organic and product-led levers.
  • Experience building and owning a product marketing function from the ground up.
  • Owned a freemium or subscription model: pricing, tiering, paywall design, and conversion testing.
  • Runs agile delivery directly: backlog refinement, ticket-writing, ceremonies.
  • Has owned live consumer or commerce surfaces and kept them reliable.
  • Brings launch-readiness discipline: go/no-go gates, GTM / product marketing, CS enablement, support scaling.
  • Experiencing managing and leveling up PMs.
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, fintech, or rewards/loyalty.
  • Familiarity with multi-platform environments (native + React Native).
  • Partnership or BD instincts for assembling value-prop bundles with brand partners.

At this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the job description you’re reading. Even if you don't meet every single preferred qualification above, we still encourage you to apply.

We're eager to meet people that believe in our mission and can contribute to our team in a variety of ways - not just candidates who check all the boxes.
