As part of Dentsu, we combine media and creative excellence with data, CX, and technology depth to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Merkle is seeking a VP, Senior Account Director to help grow and evolve our strategic partnership with Adobe. This role sits at the intersection of partnership management, digital transformation, solution strategy, and business growth, bringing together cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, drive adoption, and deliver measurable business value.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across Adobe, Merkle, and client organizations. The role requires executive presence, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence decisions across complex, matrixed environments.

As a result, this role requires a broad understanding of the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem and how these solutions are designed, implemented, and brought to market. You will leverage this expertise to lead executive-level client and partner conversations, shape engagement strategies, identify growth opportunities, and position Merkle's capabilities effectively in a competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Adobe and Merkle, serving as a strategic advisor on partnership priorities and growth opportunities.

  • Partner with product, consulting, engineering, delivery, and account teams to drive the development, adoption, and market success of Adobe-based solutions.

  • Represent Merkle in executive client and partner discussions, translating complex technology capabilities into clear business outcomes and strategic recommendations.

  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends to inform solution strategy, partnership investments, and go-to-market initiatives.

  • Leverage expertise across the Adobe ecosystem to guide conversations around digital experience, commerce, customer data, personalization, and marketing technology solutions.

  • Support business growth by differentiating Merkle's Digital Transformation capabilities and helping position the organization competitively in the marketplace.

  • Influence and align diverse stakeholder groups to achieve shared objectives and deliver measurable client and business results.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in consulting, account leadership, partnership management, digital transformation, technology services, or a related field.

  • Experience working with enterprise clients and executive stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to influence decisions without direct authority.

  • Experience translating business objectives into actionable strategies and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or related technologies.

  • Background in alliance management, product strategy, solution commercialization, or customer experience transformation.

  • Experience within consulting, professional services, or technology organizations.

  • Knowledge of AI-enabled marketing or customer experience solutions.
