Perform warehousing tasks including material handling, shipping/receiving, inventory cycle counts, part inspections, and equipment operation. Use Microsoft Office, Kardex, and ERP systems, train junior staff, comply with HSE and PPE requirements, and operate forklifts while supporting shipping, painting, and related processes.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be able to work in Microsoft Office Programs
- Back up Material Handling, Painting, Warehousing, Shipping
- Strong knowledge of the Kardex System and the ability to assist other employees
- Strong knowledge of equipment location and where to locate them in the warehouse
- The ability to coordinate and manage other employees conducting a cycle count and physical inventory
- Strong knowledge of the shipping and receiving processes and the documentation that directly corresponds to the task which include but not limited to the ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge work processes of the department
- Knowledge of the department’s workflow process to ensure smooth transition from each phase to the next.
- Inspect parts in accordance to ensure accuracy regarding dimensions, weight, and other metrics
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
- The ability to train and assist Jr level employees with completion of the task to meet department goals
- The ability to operate a stand-up forklift and a turret forklift

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5+ years of experience preferred
- Willing and able to successfully complete a respirator fit test as required.
- Good working knowledge of the Oil and Gas in a relevant field preferred
- Working knowledge within an industrial environment
- Forklift license is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office, Kardex systems and ERP systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, clothing, glasses, goggles, respirator/face mask, ear plugs/muffs and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work potentially will be performed in areas where harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing chemicals). Per HSE requirements, you could be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedule.
- Operate machinery eight (8) to twelve (12) hours per day.
- The employee must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds.
- Employee will routinely bend.
