The Role

Farther Finance Advisors is building the future of wealth management for high-net-worth families, executives, and entrepreneurs. We're looking for a sharp, motivated Associate to support three senior Managing Directors and their client service operations in delivering an exceptional client experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on operational excellence and seeks comprehensive exposure to wealth management operations.

Your Impact

  • Support three senior Managing Directors by managing meeting preparation, follow-up, and operational tasks
  • Prepare comprehensive client meeting materials, including agendas, financial plan updates (coordinating with internal planning team), portfolio reviews, and quarterly reports
  • Execute post-meeting workflows by reviewing AI notes, managing task lists, and drafting client recap emails
  • Respond to day-to-day client requests and complete first-pass plan adjustments under advisor guidance
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Client Service Managers, financial planning, estate planning, investment strategy) to ensure seamless execution
  • Support business development by analyzing prospects' portfolios, preparing proposals, and assisting with marketing event logistics
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency

The Ideal Match

  • 2–5 years of experience in financial services operations, client service, or administrative support roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools, CRMs, and custodial platforms (Charles Schwab/Fidelity preferred)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with genuine excitement to learn about wealth management operations

Bonus Points

  • Interest in pursuing CFP® or CFA (we'll support your professional development)
  • Experience supporting multiple executives or advisors in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior exposure to high-net-worth client operations
  • Background working with financial planning or portfolio management workflows
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms

  • Full health benefits + 401(k) matching & Roth IRA options
  • Professional development support (including CFP® coursework if desired)
