Job Description

Job Summary

Works with the content marketing and marketing services teams to create high-impact, search-optimized, web-first content that drives visibility, engagement, and authority across Google, AI search tools, and emerging generative engines to increase website traffic and AI search visibility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Uses exceptional written communication and data-driven research skills to plan, write, and monitor digital  content that provides information to strengthen brand authority and performs across SEO, AISO, and GEO environments.
  • Researches industry keyword and AI prompt trends to suggest new web content or updates to existing webpages.
  • Uses insights and information gathered from marketing team and cross-functional collaboration to translate data into readable content designed to perform in terms of AI search, AI summarization, and generative results
  • Performs a range of assignments and may lead projects within own discipline
  • Applies working knowledge of business and best practices gained through understanding of key business drivers and recognition of how own area integrates within organization
  • Works within brand guidelines and polices to accomplish objectives and goals
  • Solves moderately complex to complex problems and analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgement and precedents
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues, provides guidance to less experienced team members
  • Individual contributor working with limited oversight
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Education

  • Requires bachelor’s degree in relevant field 

Experience

  • Experience with keyword research, AI prompt tracking and web content analysis.
  • Proven experience as a content writer, web writer, or SEO content specialist with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, clarity, and scannability
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of SEO/GEO fundamentals and content performance across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences, and generative discovery platforms.
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Sitecore, proficiency in data-based research and content optimization tools such as BrigthEdge, and tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar 
  • Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
