About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

About the Role

As a Web Designer at Solace, you’ll own how our brand lives and performs on the web. You’ll design elegant, high-performing experiences in Figma and bring them to life in Webflow.

This is not just a visual design role. You’ll be responsible for shaping the full website experience - from major redesign initiatives to ongoing improvements and landing page creation.

You will work on our creative team, partnering closely with Marketing to ensure our site is not only beautiful, but fast, intuitive, and conversion-focused.

You will be held to high standards, but you will do some of the best work of your life here. This role is for the hungry, the ambitious, the detail-obsessed builders who love seeing their work shipped and live in the world.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead website redesign projects from concept through launch

  • Design thoughtful, scalable web experiences in Figma

  • Translate designs into production-ready builds in Webflow using the native builder

  • Own site maintenance: updating visuals, evolving layouts, publishing content, and refining UX

  • Build high-performing, conversion-focused landing pages for campaigns and experiments

  • Ensure responsive excellence across desktop, tablet, and mobile

  • Optimize for speed, accessibility, SEO, and performance best practices

  • Partner closely with copy, brand, lifecycle, performance, and SEO teams to ship cohesive web experiences

  • Contribute to and evolve our design system and Webflow component library

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve UX, clarity, and conversion

What You Bring to the Table
  • Fluency in Figma and deep expertise in Webflow’s native builder

  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and web best practices

  • Experience leading or heavily contributing to a full website redesign

  • Comfort managing both large strategic projects and one-off requests

  • A strong foundation in typography, hierarchy, layout, and interaction design

  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and performance optimization

  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • An online portfolio showcasing web design work (live sites preferred)

Applicants must be based in the United States.

Up for the Challenge?

We look forward to meeting you.
