Company Description

Givebutter is the most-loved nonprofit fundraising and CRM platform, empowering millions of changemakers to raise more, pay less, and give better. Nonprofits use Givebutter to replace multiple tools so they can launch fundraisers and events, use donation forms and donor management (CRM), send emails and text blasts—all in one place. Use of the Givebutter platform is completely free with a 100% transparent tip-or-fee model.

Givebutter has been certified as a Great Place to Work® in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and is the #1 rated nonprofit software company on G2 across multiple categories.

Our mission is to empower the changemaker in all of us. We believe giving should be fun, so you’ll want to do it again, and we also believe that work should be fun, so that you’ll have the greatest impact. We are excited to hear from talented people who want to work with other talented people in making the world a butter place—and have fun along the way.

Role Description

Givebutter is hiring a Webflow Engineer who loves making the internet a little more fun. You’ll build interactive, story-driven pages in Webflow that give nonprofits a genuine feel for our product, striking a balance between creativity, performance, and a brand we treat with care.

Why join the Givebutter Engineering team?

  • Support you can rely on. Our core infrastructure and tooling are fully automated and hands-off, so engineers can focus on building high-quality experiences.

  • Collaborative by default. Engineers pair, share ideas across pods, and step in to help each other succeed.

  • Trust and autonomy. Decisions are discussed openly, and engineers are trusted to own their work and how they approach it.

  • A genuinely fun culture. We care about kindness, humor, and working well together. Expect puns, helpful teammates, and thoughtful collaboration.

  • Mission-driven, full stop. You'll be working with inspiring nonprofits, charities, and organizations making a positive impact around the world.

Why join Growth?

  • First impressions that matter. Your work shapes how nonprofits discover Givebutter, understand our products, and decide how to grow with us.

  • Product exposure, not just pages. You’ll work across acquisition, onboarding, and retention, helping both new and existing nonprofits learn how to get more value from Givebutter.

  • Thoughtful experimentation. Partner on growth experiments that balance creativity, performance, and care for our users.

  • A real seat at the table. Engineers on Growth contribute ideas, influence the roadmap, and think abstractly about impact, not just implementation.

  • Creative, collaborative energy. Work closely with Marketing, Design, and Product in a pod that values curiosity, humor, and good buttery taste.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and improve landing pages, sign-up flows, and marketing experiences in Webflow

  • Contribute to our marketing site rebrand and design system, establishing reusable patterns and component libraries

  • Turn Figma designs into Webflow builds with advanced interactions and animations (GSAP, scroll-triggered effects, hover states)

  • Set up and run A/B tests on Webflow pages; use performance data to inform design and copy changes

  • Implement attribution tracking so we can connect marketing site activity to in-app conversions

  • Build key pages: pricing, competitor comparisons, campaign landing pages, microsites

  • Speed up the site. Improve Core Web Vitals and fix SEO technical issues.

  • Manage Webflow CMS collections and connect to analytics platforms (PostHog, Google Analytics)

  • Help define Webflow best practices and documentation so Marketing can self-serve on routine updates

  • Participate in the Growth team support rotation to handle production issues during business hours

Requirements

  • 2+ years building websites or marketing experiences, ideally in-house at a SaaS or consumer tech company

  • Proficiency in Webflow: CMS architecture, interactions, animations, and custom code—with a strong portfolio of live sites

  • Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills for extending what Webflow can do natively

  • Experience with Webflow design systems, component libraries, and class naming conventions that don't become a mess

  • Comfortable translating Figma designs into responsive, production-ready Webflow builds

  • Experience running A/B tests and interpreting results

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (PostHog, Google Analytics, Mixpanel)

  • Know how to make pages fast and rank well (Core Web Vitals, technical SEO basics)

  • Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of responsive design

  • Can juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, experiment-heavy environment
