Job Description SummaryAs a member of the Wind Commercial team, the Wind Regional Services Contract Renegotiation Leader is responsible for analyzing “Challenged Contracts” in the regional FSA (Full Service Agreement) backlog and leading a cross functional team to develop and execute a strategy for improving GE Vernova’s contractual position. Challenged Contracts are typically identified as contracts where the annual margin is expected to substantially less than as-sold margin the contract was approved based upon.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead FSA contract renegotiation activities in assigned region

  • Understand and leverage available analytics to drive decision making

  • Collaborate with regional sales, operations, legal and commercial teams to implement contractual changes with customers.  Including directly interfacing with customers when required.

  • Identify and overcome obstacles to successful renegotiation

  • Prioritize activities based on likelihood of success and magnitude of benefit

  • Obtain cross functional buy-in and support as necessary

  • Create mutually beneficial outcomes for GEV and customer as much as possible.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading high profile cross functional initiatives

  • Advanced analytical skills or interest and willingness to learn quickly (advanced Excel, Access, Tableau, or similar)

  • Direct customer engagement preferably including negotiations

  • Wind product and services knowledge

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to seek unique solutions meeting both GE Vernova and customer needs

  • Basic understanding of customer proforma / business model to support evaluation of potential solutions

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent (minimum of 10 years of professional experience)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Services Operations, Fleet Performance Management or equivalent experience

  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to perform effectively in a non-hierarchical, team-type environment

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Established project management skills.
     

As GE Vernova is a global organization, working across different time zones, and monitoring, reading and responding to contact outside normal working hours can be expected.
