• Research video topics using reputable academic, journalistic, or primary sources

• Verify factual accuracy and document supporting sources during research

• Draft full video scripts using the approved BASIC Studios voice and structure

• Organize scripts with clear narration flow, segment breaks, and production cues

• Submit drafts for internal review and revision when requested

• Incorporate feedback from script editors or leadership before final approval

• Upload approved scripts to Notion in the designated format for narration and production

• Maintain organized research notes and source documentation for each script

• Research blog topics using reputable academic, journalistic, or primary sources

• Verify factual claims and gather supporting references during research

• Draft blog posts using the approved structure and writing voice for BASIC Studios

• Format posts clearly for online reading with appropriate headings and sections

• Include a Works Cited section for any claims requiring verification

• Format references in MLA or APA style as appropriate

• Upload completed posts to WordPress for editorial review

• Revise drafts when requested by editors or leadership before publication

You will receive task assignments and guidance from our leadership team weekly or biweekly, based on your personal preference. We ask our volunteers to provide approximately five to ten hours of their time per week while maintaining consistent communication.
