I have never worked at such a large, or global, company. I've been able to drive foundational initiatives that truly touch dozens of teams across the world. This ability to work cross functionally, and devise proposals for globally impactful initiatives is very unique and exciting. I've learned a lot about how to collect the right inputs, how to identify the next steps, how to consider the change management required for large scale change. These are skills that are gained by doing, and I feel fortunate that Adyen has trusted me to be a part of it.

I'm incredibly energized by how our team is pushing the boundaries of mobile in-person payments, bridging complex C++ and Java backends with seamless iOS and Android user experiences. It's inspiring to lead a cross-continental team that directly impacts how millions of people securely interact with merchants every single day.

Adyen's way of working has helped me develop my confidence in a work setting. At Adyen, the flat organization structure and direct way of communicating means anyone can voice an opinion or idea in any meeting, and anyone can give direct feedback even to someone more "senior" than themselves. I've developed my voice, felt more confident asserting my opinion, and taken feedback with more grace in order to grow.
