I've been particularly impressed with the company's commitment to fostering connection and supporting work-life balance. The vibrant in-office culture, encouraged by perks like our in-house barista and catered lunches, creates wonderful opportunities for genuine collaboration with colleagues.
I'm a huge fan of our hybrid approach, as it respects both the need for building community at work and the need for focused time and family life at home as I have young kids.

Both my team and the company I think really utilize hybrid work well - while there is the flexibility to be able to work from home frequently, when the team is in the office together we spend significant time together and really make the most of being co-located. I appreciate the fact that it is culturally normative for lunch to be spent together with co-workers and often involves not actually talking about work. Many companies talk about having a truly unique company culture, but I feel that the culture at Adyen truly stands apart from many other places at which I've worked.

When I joined Adyen, I was looking for a global organization that was in growth mode. I also preferred a hybrid work environment. I’m someone who enjoys and appreciates in person collaboration, but also needed a company with some flexibility to balance my work and personal lives. When I first saw the Adyen formula, I knew it was the place for me; putting ego aside for the sake of winning is part of my core.
