Design and verify RISC-V CPU IP using microarchitecture development, SystemVerilog RTL, functional verification, assertions, coverage, simulations, regression debugging, and power, performance, and area analysis. Develop Python, C/C++, and scripting automation while collaborating across architecture, design, verification, and implementation teams. The role is intended for a new college graduate with a degree in electrical or computer engineering and foundational experience in digital logic, computer architecture, CPU fundamentals, and Verilog or SystemVerilog.

Build, deploy, test, scale, and optimize machine learning models and AI inference workflows for edge and cloud environments. Develop maintainable software components and APIs, profile performance, document engineering designs and benchmarks, and communicate technical trade-offs across software, machine learning, and hardware teams.

Supports GlobalFoundries’ global corporate event portfolio, including customer events, executive programs, and industry trade shows. The role oversees NLP, vector databases, knowledge graphs, machine learning pipelines, RAG, multimodal AI, and customer-facing software platforms.

Leads the strategy, roadmap, commercialization, growth, and profitability of GlobalFoundries’ quantum photonics product portfolio. Translates customer and ecosystem requirements into scalable semiconductor manufacturing platforms, process technologies, integration flows, design enablement, and go-to-market plans for quantum computing, sensing, and networking applications. Requires executive leadership across business, engineering, and R&D organizations, substantial quantum or photonics experience, and travel of 25% or more.

Supports GlobalFoundries’ Commercial Transformation Partner Excellence program by mapping and improving partner processes, analyzing sales and partner performance, identifying system gaps, facilitating business reviews, automating recurring reports and workflows, and preparing recommendations for commercial leadership. The role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and uses data, process documentation, low-code tools, and AI-assisted technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Builds market models, customer opportunity maps, competitive assessments, and technology requirements; supports design wins and customer engagements; develops market collateral and requirements documents; and partners with Sales, Product Management, Technology Development, Design Enablement, and executives to drive roadmap decisions, funnel growth, and revenue.

Lead RTL development and microarchitecture for an AI-enabled RISC-V CPU core, including vector and matrix engines. Own functional features, performance, power, area, timing, and physical design considerations. Develop specifications, optimize RTL, support verification, and collaborate on CPU modeling, design verification, and SoC integration.
