Build automation and AI agents, manage macOS fleets, strengthen monitoring and security practices, resolve complex operational issues, and partner with Security, People, Finance, Engineering, vendors, and consultants. The role is hands-on and expected to progressively assume day-to-day leadership of the IT function.

Lead Hex’s talent function as the company scales from 220 to 500 employees. Own talent strategy, hiring standards, interviewer training, sourcing innovation, recruiting technology, employer value proposition, candidate experience, compensation discussions, and difficult searches. Manage recruiters, sourcers, coordinators, and recruiting operations while personally executing searches. Build scalable, data-driven systems using automation and AI to improve hiring quality, speed, and consistency.

AI Engineer Interns will research, design, evaluate, and productionize AI-powered data capabilities. Responsibilities include running AI/ML experiments, developing agent self-improvement and continuous-learning systems, collaborating with product engineers, building evaluation and training infrastructure, optimizing performance, designing APIs, and contributing across the full development lifecycle.

Lead Hex’s AI engineering and research organization in defining strategy across post-training, model evaluation, search and retrieval, and continuous learning. Lead data analysis and modeling for Growth and Monetization, focusing on sales trials, product-led sales, pricing, packaging, and monetization. Partner cross-functionally to generate actionable insights, maintain dbt models and ELT pipelines, improve data workflows, evaluate emerging tools, and enable colleagues to use Hex effectively. The role requires strong analytical judgment, SQL and dbt expertise, and an interest in applying AI to data work.

Develop and evolve Hex’s visual brand across campaigns, product launches, web, events, social, editorial, and physical experiences. Create illustrations, imagery, graphic systems, and visual concepts that simplify complex technical products. Build reusable brand assets, collaborate with marketing and creative teams, art direct external partners, participate in critiques, and balance early experimentation with polished execution.

Own Hex’s recruiting operations infrastructure, including the ATS, sourcing, scheduling, assessment tools, workflows, data quality, analytics, automation, and vendor management. Build dashboards and hiring forecasts, improve recruiting processes, implement AI thoughtfully, lead interviewer training and structured interviews, establish operating rhythms, and protect candidate experience. Partner with Finance, People Operations, Data, recruiters, and hiring managers to scale a high-growth hiring function.

Lead and scale Hex’s Western Enterprise Account Executive team. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, coaching, deal strategy, pipeline and forecast management, operating cadence, cross-functional collaboration, go-to-market development, executive relationship building, and improving sales performance across complex enterprise SaaS deals.

Build AI-powered features and scalable agent infrastructure for Hex’s data analytics platform. Partner with research and product engineering teams on context, model prompting, experimentation tooling, and platform integration. Lead major product initiatives, develop performant web experiences, maintain high standards for testing and correctness, and mentor engineers. The role involves full-stack development across React, TypeScript, GraphQL, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.

Drive new business and revenue within a commercial territory by building pipeline, understanding customer challenges, positioning Hex, running discovery and demos with Sales Engineering, managing sales cycles, meeting targets, forecasting accurately, and expanding existing accounts. The role requires full-cycle SaaS sales experience in technical data, data science, machine learning, or analytics software, plus the ability to learn SQL and communicate complex technical concepts.

Own Hex’s paid marketing strategy and execution across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and emerging channels. Manage large paid budgets, optimize acquisition and pipeline performance, build automated marketing systems, and run experiments across audiences, creative, landing pages, and bidding. Partner with Growth Product, Lifecycle, Web, Brand Design, and Demand Gen to connect paid acquisition to PLG activation, pipeline, and revenue. Use AI tools and Hex’s platform to improve campaign performance and develop repeatable marketing use cases.

Build full-stack AI governance and observability features for Hex’s data platform. Responsibilities include developing React and TypeScript interfaces, backend language parsers, SQL generation, AI context systems, semantic models, agent audit tools, and workflows for governing and debugging AI-generated answers. The role requires solving front-end UX and backend scalability challenges while working with data teams and modern data warehouse technologies.

Own Hex’s web design and UX across its website, documentation, campaigns, launches, and future digital experiences. Lead visual systems, interaction, motion, product storytelling, and UX strategy while partnering with Brand, Marketing, Product, Content, and Engineering. This hands-on role takes designs from concept through production using HTML, CSS, and React/Next.js, while balancing craft, accessibility, performance, and maintainability. The role also influences creative processes and may eventually hire and mentor a web design team.

Build and ship full-stack product features for Hex’s AI-powered data platform using React, TypeScript, and/or Python. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and AI engineers on agentic capabilities, data exploration, collaborative editing, debugging, performance, UX, and API design. Participate in the complete development lifecycle from ideation through launch while learning from experienced engineers.

The Enterprise Sales Engineer advises data teams and executives, owns technical sales cycles, leads discovery, demos, proofs of concept, deployments, and technical reviews. They partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, communicate prospect feedback to Product and Engineering, create evaluation content, and support customer relationships through onsite visits and events. The role requires enterprise pre-sales experience, technical fluency in data science workflows, and strong customer communication skills.

Build and deploy AI capabilities for Hex’s Notebook Agent and context engine. Responsibilities include running experiments, fine-tuning models, developing AI infrastructure and experimentation tooling, architecting AI-enabled systems, and shipping production experiences for data scientists and analysts. The role partners closely with product teams, spans greenfield initiatives, and offers opportunities for technical and team leadership.

Own technical talent sourcing strategy across Engineering, AI, Infrastructure, Product, and Design. Build AI-powered sourcing workflows, identify passive candidates, map talent markets, create personalized outreach, and partner with recruiters and hiring managers on candidate calibration. Track sourcing metrics, test messaging, evaluate recruiting technologies, and establish repeatable programs that improve technical hiring and candidate experience.
