Private Capital (Whippany, NJ):

The analyst's responsibilities may include:
  • Reporting, analysis, presentations, and ad hoc portfolio-related projects, as well as providing support for the more senior members of the team.
  • Producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to effectively manage and report on portfolio performance and risk.
  • Support writing investment recommendations with due diligence support for transactions
  • Monitoring of market movements with industry and company research and communication with portfolio companies
  • Portfolio and credit monitoring

This role will sit within the below business unit as part of the Private Capital team in MetLife Investment Management.
  • Corporate Private Credit-strategy that seeks to originate high-quality private debt with enhanced yield potential and diversification characteristics. Our clients' investments can be tailored to a wide range of maturities as well as to diversification by risk, country, sector, and currency, and structured as fixed and / or floating-rate debt.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2025 and June 2026. Master's and other advanced degrees are ineligible
  • Demonstrated interest in finance / economics
  • A strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and be able to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment, remaining detail-oriented and client-focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and feel comfortable interacting with management-level professionals
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship, now or at any point in the future.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $100,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
