We Make Remote Work Remarkable • TopTalent from LatAm

Hello! We are GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service. GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe.

We need an English-fluent Product Designer (UX) (PT), based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Are you the one we are looking for?

Responsibilities:

UX research + synthesis

  • Plan and run usability sessions (with internal support):
    • onboarding comprehension
    • report readability and trust signals
    • share page conversion
    • reviewer invite and micro-review completion
  • Convert findings into prioritized UX fixes and measurable hypotheses.

Interaction design (core flows)

  • Design end-to-end flows for:
    • onboarding and profile metadata capture (minimal friction, high clarity)
    • upload and progress states (error handling matters)
    • report information architecture (what appears first, why it’s credible)
    • safe share controls + coauthor experience
    • reviewer invite + micro-review template UX

Trust & explainability UX

  • Work with AI Lead to translate “why similar / why score” into a readable, credible experience (evidence snippets, confidence indicators).

Design system + quality bar

  • Create a lightweight design system (components for report sections, cards, share views, modals).
  • Partner with engineering to ensure polish where it matters: clarity, professionalism, credibility.

Content and microcopy (industry specific-sensitive)

  • Ensure language is non-gatekeeping and “ego-safe”:
    • avoid “pass/fail”
    • frame as decision support and improvement guidance
  • Collaborate with Growth PM on landing/onboarding/share page copy.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years product design experience shipping complex web apps.
  • Strong UX research and synthesis ability.
  • Proven experience of designing A+B testing for apps
  • Proven ability to design for trust-heavy domains (finance, health, education, legal, etc. — or similarly sensitive areas).
    Nice-to-haves
  • Experience with publishing tools, peer review workflows, or citation/literature products.
  • Comfort designing analytics/admin views (internal dashboards).

Compensation:

  • The salary range offered for this position varies from USD $1,800–$2,500 per month, depending on seniority and skill set. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) and includes a one-,month trial period.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.

Here are the steps for this process:
Application review/approval > Screening interview with GoFasti's team > We build and send your profile to our client > Profile review/approval by client > Interview with the client > Hiring and onboarding.

Once you apply for the job, our team will review your resume. If it meets the requirements, we will contact you and move forward in the process.

Note for Candidates Approached Directly:
If you were contacted directly by a member of our team and are interested in this opportunity, please do not apply through this link. Instead, reach out to the person who contacted you to coordinate a meeting.
Thank you!

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
