You Are:

A Seasoned SAP Technology architect with experience designing and governing enterprise-scale SAP landscapes across infrastructure, integration, security, and custom development and who operates as the primary technical authority on complex S/4HANA, RISE, and BTP programs — translating business and functional requirements into a coherent, scalable, and future-ready SAP platform strategy while engaging CTO and CIO-level stakeholders with credibility and depth.

The Work:

  • Own end-to-end SAP technical architecture across multi-system, multi-country S/4HANA landscapes including RISE with SAP, BTP, and hybrid cloud deployments

  • Define system landscape topology, sizing, transport management strategy, and non-production environment refresh approach

  • Lead SAP RISE migration architecture including hyperscaler selection (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure sizing, HA/DR design, and managed services operating model

  • Govern HANA database architecture including sizing, HANA System Replication (HSR), backup/restore, and performance tuning frameworks

  • Own enterprise integration architecture across SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh including interface inventory, design standards, and error handling governance

  • Lead SAP security architecture including role concept, SoD framework, GRC Access Control, Identity Authentication Service (IAS/IPS), and SSO configuration

  • Define and govern custom development strategy including ABAP standards, Fiori/UI5 oversight, Clean Core adoption, and BTP Side-by-Side extensibility framework

  • Lead BTP architecture design including subaccount structure, environment strategy (CF/Kyma), Cloud Connector, and destination management

  • Drive technical readiness gates including system availability, transport readiness, security sign-off, and performance validation ahead of go-live

  • Manage and mentor technical teams of 5–15 across Basis, integration, security, and ABAP development tracks

  • Present architecture decisions, risks, and mitigation strategies to client CTO, CIO, and executive steering committees

  • Contribute to pre-sales pursuits, RFP technical responses, and effort estimation for technology scope

Travel may be required for this role.  The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

Here's What You Need:

  • Minimum of 12 years SAP technology experience, including full lifecycle S/4HANA or ECC implementation experience as a Technical Architecture or Basis Lead

  • Minimum of 8 years of SAP Basis experience across system administration, transport management, HANA database, HA/DR, and performance tuning

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on SAP Integration Suite (CPI) experience across integration flow design, API management, and event-driven architecture

  • Minimum of 8 years of SAP security architecture experience across role design, SoD, GRC Access Control, IAS/IPS, and SSO

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with SAP RISE, BTP subaccount design, and hyperscaler deployments

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with custom code governance, including ABAP standards, Fiori/UI5, and Clean Core strategy

  • Prior experience working for a large Consulting/Advisory firm (Big 4, global SI, or boutique SAP consulting environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)

Bonus Points if:

  • You have a SAP Technology certification (Basis, Integration Suite, BTP)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
