As an Account Executive, you'll introduce and upsell products, develop sales strategies, exceed quotas, and collaborate on sales plans while using Salesforce and Clari.

Instructure is looking for experienced Account Executives to join our newly developed Business and Government Sales Team.
What you will do:
- Introduce and upsell, cross-sell Instructure products to current clients.
- Develop sales strategies to increase pipeline.
- Consistently meet/exceed sales quota.
- Work closely with the customer success & renewals team to provide a cohesive experience for Canvas customers and grow accounts through x-sell & upsell.
- Collaborate with other members of our sales teams on territory plans and quarterly business reviews.
- Deliver web based presentations and product demonstrations.
- Provide education and training about Canvas products & services.
- Extensive use of Salesforce & Clari to document activities and maintain an accurate forecast.
What you will need to know/have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven sales experience, Account Management and/or Business Development
- Experience working with Higher Education institutions, Professional Learning, Credentialing or in EdTech is a plus.
- Experience selling enterprise level software, SaaS sales and services - (LMS specific experience a plus).
- Experience selling at all levels, MM & Enterprise
- Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills.
- Ability to do detailed needs analysis and proposal development.
