ABOUT ROOTSTOCK

Rootstock Software is a leading provider of native Cloud ERP on the Salesforce Platform. We empower manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain organizations to digitally transform their operations by delivering flexible, modern, and scalable ERP solutions. Our customers include some of the most innovative product-central companies across North America. We are the only ERP built natively on Salesforce, which means our customers run operations and CRM on one cloud platform rather than stitching a legacy ERP to their front office.

This is a remote position, based in the United States or Canada.
Please, no agencies/recruiters.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business across North America. In this individual contributor role you will own the full sales cycle, targeting mid-market to large enterprise companies in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain. The role rewards a consultative, strategic seller who is comfortable teaching a buyer something they did not know and controlling a complex, multi-stakeholder evaluation. This is not a transactional product. Our buyers require education, business case development, and clear platform differentiation. We win by leading with insight.

DEAL PROFILE

  • Buying committee spans operations, IT, and finance, up to C-level
  • Competitive set is legacy and disconnected ERP, most often displaced by showing a unified operations and CRM platform

TERRITORY AND SUPPORT

  • A named territory of high-priority, best-fit accounts, typically $50M to $500M in revenue
  • A dedicated New Logo Hunting SDR partnered to your territory to accelerate outbound pipeline generation. While the SDR supports you, you are expected to independently source pipeline and proactively hunt new logo opportunities.
  • A Solutions Consultant to partner on discovery, solutioning, and demo
  • Marketing, ABM, and partner-led programs feeding your territory, plus the Salesforce ecosystem as a co-sell channel

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Drive net new customer acquisition across your named territory
  • Sell Rootstock ERP to Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders
  • Deliver tailored product demos, proposals, and business cases aligned to client needs
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes in complex enterprise environments
  • Build and execute a territory plan that generates meaningful self-sourced pipeline. Own pipeline creation alongside your dedicated SDR through strategic outbound prospecting, account-based hunting, networking, partner engagement, and executive outreach.
  • Partner with your SDR and Solutions Consultant to create and advance opportunities
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, implementation teams, and Salesforce ecosystem partners
  • Forecast accurately and manage your number with discipline

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5 to 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally B2B SaaS
  • Proven success in complex B2B sales with deal values in the $50K to $500K+ range
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Strong business acumen, with experience engaging IT, operations, and finance
  • Ability to build executive relationships and close multi-stakeholder deals
  • A self-motivated, results-driven professional with a consistent record of exceeding quota
  • A true hunter who self-sources pipeline and does not wait for leads to be handed over
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce-native or integrated ERP environments is a plus
  • Existing relationships with Salesforce account teams or ecosystem partners are a strong advantage

This position is commission eligible with a Base $160,000 USD / $220,000 CAD, with on-target earnings of $295,000 to $320,000 USD / $405,000 to $440,000 CAD, uncapped commission.

We offer our team members competitive compensation, world-class benefits, work-life balance (flexible schedules, telecommuting, vacation time off), and the opportunity to work alongside an amazing and supportive team!

Rootstock values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
