Your Mission

Drive growth by winning new SMB customers and expanding Prokeep’s footprint within the distribution industry. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the SMB Account Executive will generate new revenue through a combination of outbound prospecting, managing inbound opportunities, and building strong customer relationships.

Winning starts with hustle. You’ll engage directly with prospects every day to position Prokeep as the go-to communication platform for distributors and their teams. You understand that speed, responsiveness, and persistence matter in SMB sales, and you thrive in a fast-moving environment where activity drives results.

You know success is a team sport, so you work collaboratively across sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams to create a seamless customer journey. You’re energized by testing new approaches, refining messaging, and continuously improving your process to drive stronger results over time.

What You Will Do

The focus of this role is on managing a high-volume pipeline and closing new SMB business opportunities. You will build relationships quickly, identify customer pain points, demonstrate Prokeep’s value, and guide prospects through the sales process from first conversation to close.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of SMB opportunities

  • Own the full sales cycle, including discovery, product demonstrations, proposal creation, negotiation, and close

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within SMB organizations

  • Accurately forecast revenue and maintain clean pipeline management within CRM systems

  • Collaborate closely with Account Management and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth customer handoff and onboarding experience

  • Partner with Marketing to provide feedback on messaging, campaigns, and lead quality

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Prokeep’s product offering and communicate customer feedback to Product and Leadership teams

  • Travel occasionally for conferences, customer visits, and team events

About You

Required: 2+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role with proven success selling SaaS products, preferably in SMB or Mid-Market environments

  • Proven success managing a high-volume pipeline and consistently closing new business

  • Comfortable prospecting and engaging decision-makers across Operations, Sales, and Ownership teams

  • Highly motivated, competitive, and resilient with strong urgency and follow-through

  • Persistent, tactfully aggressive, and energized by fast-paced startup environments

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across phone, video, written, and presentation settings

  • Quick to learn new technologies and simplify technical concepts for customers

  • Experience with CRM systems (ideally HubSpot), sales engagement tools, and maintaining accurate pipeline data

  • SaaS sales experience preferred, ideally within high-growth startups or industrial, manufacturing, or distribution industries
