About the role
As an Account Executive on the US sales team, you will serve as a trusted advisor for prospects and customers, working with them through the entire buying process — from initial evaluation to close — and through the onboarding of their full team while acting as their primary point of contact. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on enterprise manufacturing businesses every day.
 
What You Will Do
  • Position the value of our product with stakeholders through phone, email, and demos—bringing the product knowledge, passion, and people skills to help each prospect make the best decision for their needs.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities to consistently drive revenue and deliver strong ROI for customers.
  • Become an expert in assessing the IIoT use case of each prospect, customizing your approach based on company size, industry, and desired outcomes.
  • Proactively report learnings and valuable product feedback to the product team to drive improvements and prioritize the right initiatives.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of Factbird's evolving product and understand the nuances of how it can be applied to different customer situations.
  • Take ownership of must-win battles for the year and drive them forward with conviction. 

What we’re looking for
  • A top performer in an enterprise market sales role with 3+ years of experience closing net new logos—SaaS or hardware experience is a bonus.
  • Experience in selling manufacturing software solutions.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales quota, and the ability to articulate how you got there.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a genuine focus on winning and helping customers achieve their goals.
  • Ability to apply consultative and team-selling strategies in a competitive market.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Experience tracking sales activity in a CRM — HubSpot experience is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC — preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable wearing several hats: sales, support, customer success, and internal mobiliser.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build your own territory business and hit quarterly and annual goals.
