About Giga

Giga is building gigawatts of AI data centers to hasten a future of intelligence and abundance. We build data centers fast and at scale by combining the capabilities of an equipment supplier, engineering firm, general contractor, and real estate developer under one roof. Our team moves quickly and thinks practically. If you're ready to make an impact in an industry that matters, we're looking for people like you.

Why join Giga
  • The Pace: We're building at a speed most companies talk about but never actually operate at. If you've been bored somewhere else, you won't be here.
  • The Impact: Every person at Giga touches the work that matters. No layers, no waiting for approval chains. You'll see your fingerprints on what we ship.
  • The Team: A team of operators defining the future of AI infrastructure. We recruit A-players from the most innovative companies in the world, and they choose Giga because the work here means more.
  • The Moment: AI doesn't run without power, and that's us. Giga is the picks and shovels behind the AI revolution. This industry is about to explode, and you'll be in the room where it's already happening.

What You'll Do

As Account Manager, you'll own the relationship experience — from groundbreaking through go-live — making the customer feel like the most important account in the building, while you quietly orchestrate everything internally to make that true. You'll build relationship equity in the room: at site visits, executive touchpoints, industry events, and the moments that turn a vendor into a partner. When development wraps, you'll already be three moves ahead on how we expand the relationship, and how the playbook you build here scales to support additional AI data center colocation customers.

Where You'll Work

We are an in-office culture — velocity matters when you're building physical infrastructure, and the best decisions happen in the room. This role is ideally based in our San Francisco offices, with full-time onsite expectations outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays.

That said, we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent if you live outside one of our hubs. If you're the right person for this role, we'll have a conversation about what works.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer experience for our AI enterprise partner throughout the data center development phase — the face of Giga in every room that matters.
  • Design and run a relationship cadence that goes beyond status calls: site visits, executive touchpoints, milestone celebrations, and industry events where the relationship can deepen face-to-face.
  • Represent Giga at relevant industry tradeshows and conferences, building the broader network of relationships that feeds future business development.
  • Act as the internal coordinating glue — pulling together account executives, project managers, and engineering teams so the customer never feels the seams between Giga's internal functions.
  • Proactively surface and resolve issues before they become escalations, translating complex project updates into clear, confident communication for the customer.
  • Lead executive business reviews and key customer moments, ensuring senior stakeholders on both sides feel aligned and confident.
  • Spot and pursue expansion opportunities post-development — using the trust built during delivery to position Giga for follow-on business and new colocation customers.
  • Track account health and relationship milestones, reporting internally on risks, wins, and opportunities to deepen the partnership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer experience, relationship management, or business development for large enterprise accounts, ideally in infrastructure, energy, construction, or a similarly complex, capital-intensive industry.
  • Proven track record of building trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders that extend beyond the transactional — through events, in-person touchpoints, and sustained engagement.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills — comfortable working alongside engineering, project management, legal, and finance teams simultaneously without owning their workstreams.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence; able to represent Giga confidently in front of C-suite customer stakeholders and at industry events.
  • Experience managing relationships with long development or delivery cycles across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn delivery success into commercial growth, and to build internal alignment to pursue it.

Bonus Points

  • Background in data center development, energy infrastructure, or AI/cloud hardware.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup where you've built customer experience or account processes from the ground up.
  • Existing relationships within the AI or hyperscaler ecosystem, or a network built through industry events and tradeshows.
  • Familiarity with large-scale construction or development project timelines and terminology.

How We Work

We value people who take ownership, raise risks early, communicate directly, and follow through. Incomplete information is part of the job. Make the best decision you can, document it, and adjust as the facts change. Move quickly on reversible decisions and take more care when security, safety, financial, employee, or customer risk is involved.

Benefits
  • Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity (options) in a rapidly growing startup
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Commuter benefits, where applicable
  • Opportunities to collaborate in person at periodic team and company on-sites
