About The Role

NewsBreak is looking for an analytical, growth-minded Account Manager to join our Ad Platform team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of performance advertisers across the App vertical.

Your primary focus will be driving account revenue growth through campaign optimization and scale, while leading cross-functional collaboration internally to champion platform improvements and drive client adoption of new ad products. As a trusted growth consultant, you will partner closely with advertisers, media buyers, and internal teams to maximize client ROI (ROAS, CPA, CAC) on NewsBreak.

Responsibilities

Revenue Growth, Campaign Optimization & Scale

  • Own quarterly retention and revenue growth targets across your dedicated client portfolio, identifying high-value opportunities to unlock incremental budgets.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize performance campaigns to ensure advertisers consistently meet and exceed target KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPI, LTV).
  • Provide proactive, data-driven optimization strategies across bidding tactics, audience targeting, conversion funnels, and creative refresh cycles to scale daily ad spend.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), translating complex campaign data into compelling, revenue-generating stories.
  • Identify spend barriers early, troubleshoot attribution gaps, and execute structured save and re-activation plans for at-risk or stalled accounts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Product Advocacy

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Ad Operations teams to serve as the voice of the customer, translating client feedback into actionable platform improvements.
  • Drive platform adoption by educating clients on NewsBreak's latest bidding algorithms, native ad formats, targeting tools, and measurement solutions.
  • Lead product testing roadmaps and alpha/beta programs, collaborating cross-functionally from technical setup and campaign launch to post-test evaluation and feedback loops.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical integrations (pixels, SDKs, server-to-server tracking) alongside internal ad ops and technical teams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or performance media buying within digital advertising or ad tech.
  • Proven track record of growing account revenue, optimizing campaign performance to scale spend, and driving product feature adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Ad Operations teams to resolve client issues and influence feature roadmaps.
  • Deep technical understanding of biddable auction advertising, ad server technology, pixel setup, and event tracking/attribution.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to turn raw performance data into actionable campaign optimizations and revenue opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering data-backed QBRs to client decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing campaigns in the Mobile App (User Acquisition/App Install) vertical
  • Familiarity with Mobile Measurement Partners (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular) and server-to-server tracking integrations.
  • Hands-on experience scaling ad spend on self-serve auction platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads).
