Opportunity for Impact
Applied is where insurance technology gets reinvented, and we build it fast. Our cloud software and AI-powered solutions reach thousands of agencies and brokers worldwide, setting the pace for what modern insurance can do.
We're looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our Inside Sales team and drive revenue growth across a defined territory, partnering with existing customers on our legacy platforms to move them to the modern, digital platform that fits their agency best.
What You'll Do
  • Own your territory's success by meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, using a proven Solution Selling framework
  • Proactively engage named customers on our legacy platforms and respond to inbound requests, uncovering business objectives and matching agencies to the right modern platform
  • Keep your pipeline thriving through creative prospecting, consistent lead follow-up, and marketing-driven activity

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle (prospecting to closing) B2B sales experience
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding new business or territory growth targets through discovery, business consulting, negotiation, and closing
  • Experience consulting prospects and customers on business objectives, challenges, and impact, going beyond the basic product demo
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the self-motivation and energy to thrive in a competitive but fun team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Bonus points if you also have:
  • Software as a Service (SaaS) sales experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM tool

Talent shows up in a lot of different ways, and we mean that. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experience levels, including military members and their spouses and those without a traditional degree or tech background. If this role speaks to you, apply.

  • Health & Wellness Days
  • A Bonus Day for Your Birthday

Compensation Transparency
Our targeted starting total cash compensation in the United States for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 USD and includes base salary and on-target performance-based variable commissions. Actual earnings are uncapped, and many team members exceed on-target amounts by surpassing their sales goals. We consider depth and breadth of experience, skills, and responsibilities when determining starting pay.
