About the Role

As a member on Metronome’s Account Management team, you’ll own a mission-critical role, partnering directly with our customers to drive their businesses forward. As the account owner you’ll build strong, impactful partnerships, spanning from hands-on account management to capturing new growth opportunities, championing customer needs with our product team, providing business and technical guidance and ensuring our clients see the full value of Metronome and a usage-based approach.

What You'll Do
  • Lead key client meetings, including Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and roadmap discussions to drive towards shared goals, review progress, and explore new growth opportunities.
  • Own upsells and expansion opportunities by analyzing client usage data and aligning solutions with their evolving needs.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for tricky client issues, troubleshooting with internal teams and proactively managing risks to maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable improvements with product and engineering teams, ensuring the product evolves in alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Drive end-to-end project plans for complex deployments, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables across internal and client teams.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a related post-sales function or client-facing role
  • Natural relationship builder who loves to spend time with customers
  • High degree of ownership, paired with a strong ability to prioritize
  • Communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, CEO/CTOs, product, engineering
  • Ability to co-design architecture with product and engineering
  • Ability to solve novel problems with scrappy solutions
  • Technical aptitude to build credibility with and act as an advisor in matters of data, pricing, and billing
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with Financial concepts or Pricing/Billing
  • Experience in management consulting or enterprise SaaS company
  • Experience working with customers as a founder or early hire at a software company
  • Experience building early customer-oriented teams and process at an enterprise startup
  • Experience with logs, metrics, billing, finance, or other infrastructure or financial tooling and concepts
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,800 - $151,000 OTE. In addition to your salary, Metronome offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched equity, sales incentive pay (for eligible roles), comprehensive health benefits, and other benefits listed below.

The actual base salary will vary based on factors including market value, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process, and previous experience. The listed range above should serve as a guideline and may be modified at any time.

We believe that compensation reflects the expected impact you will have at the company, relative to the market value of your role. We also conduct an annual pay audit to ensure pay is fair, indexed to market value, and that pay takes into account continued performance at Metronome.
