This role requires strong communication, account management, and sales execution skills, along with the ability to collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver value and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proven experience managing enterprise accounts in a high-growth database, cloud, or infrastructure technology company.

  • Hands-on approach to managing customer relationships—balancing strategic account planning with day-to-day responsiveness.
Skills & Experience Required
  • 5-8 years of experience maintaining healthy pipelines of renewal and expansion opportunities through effective qualification and follow-up.
  • Ability to communicate and reinforce YugabyteDB’s business value to both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and operational discipline in managing multiple enterprise accounts and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—able to partner effectively with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Data-driven mindset, using metrics and account analytics to forecast renewals, track usage trends, and identify growth potential.
  • Knowledge of distributed databases, mission-critical enterprise software, or cloud infrastructure is highly beneficial.

We feel strongly about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one way to help achieve that. The cash compensation for this role is market-competitive, with an OTE of $180,000–$200,000 and eligibility for commission. As well as equity (when applicable), and benefits including health plans, retirement plans, and unlimited paid time off (PTO). The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The actual pay will vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, and skill level.
