Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an AI Artist to help define the next generation of AI-powered video creation at OpusClip. You'll work at the intersection of visual design, generative AI, storytelling, and workflow innovation—elevating AI-generated content from impressive to exceptional.

You have exceptional creative taste and a deep understanding of generative AI. You don't just generate assets—you refine, direct, and elevate them until every frame meets your standards.

You are naturally curious, constantly exploring new tools and techniques, and you enjoy building systems that turn creative intuition into scalable workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the AI team to improve the quality, consistency, and creative direction of AI-generated video content.

  • Develop prompting frameworks and generation workflows that consistently produce high-quality outputs at scale.

  • Create repeatable creative systems that capture and operationalize visual taste, design principles, and storytelling best practices.

  • Evaluate and refine AI-generated assets, identifying and correcting issues related to composition, motion, continuity, realism, and visual quality.

  • Experiment with emerging AI creative tools and technologies, translating new capabilities into compelling product and content experiences.

  • Collaborate across product, design, marketing, and AI teams to help shape the future of AI video creation.

Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with generative AI tools for image, video, or creative content generation.

  • Excellent visual design, motion design, or creative direction instincts with a high standard for quality and detail.

  • Deep understanding of prompt engineering, creative workflows, and AI generation techniques.

  • Strong storytelling instincts with an understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and visual communication.

  • Ability to create scalable frameworks and processes rather than relying solely on one-off creative execution.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with rapidly evolving tools and workflows.

What Makes You Successful
  • You can quickly spot visual inconsistencies, quality issues, and creative opportunities that others miss.

  • You understand both the capabilities and limitations of today's AI models and know how to consistently push them further.

  • You naturally think in systems, workflows, and reusable frameworks that help teams scale creative output.

  • You combine artistic judgment with technical curiosity, constantly testing new tools and approaches.

  • You care deeply about the final product and are willing to iterate until the work reaches a high creative standard.

Nice to Have
  • Background in product design, visual design, motion graphics, creative technology, or related fields.

  • Experience building node-based workflows in ComfyUI, Fal, or similar AI infrastructure tools.

  • Previous experience in video production, film, advertising, gaming, or other creative industries.

The Details
  • Location: On-site in Mountain View, CA

  • Competitive salary, equity, and performance-based bonuses

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Opportunity to help shape one of the fastest-moving categories in AI

You Should Not Apply If
  • You rarely review or critique your own AI-generated work for quality and consistency.

  • You view prompting as the entire job rather than one part of a larger creative process.

  • You prefer receiving fully defined briefs instead of building new systems and workflows from scratch.

  • You are not genuinely excited about the future of AI-generated video and creative tooling.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
