The AI Automations Program Manager will enhance content production through scalable AI-driven workflows, manage teams, and optimize creative operations across Vocal Media.
Vocal Media is seeking an AI Automations Program Manager to turn creative ideas into scalable, AI-driven workflows. This role focuses on building and improving content production systems so teams can create high-quality content more efficiently—from brainstorming to publishing. You’ll work across teams to connect creative strategy with execution, helping drive innovation, consistency, and overall performance across Vocal’s content ecosystem. This is a full-time position through November 2026, with the opportunity for extension.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of AI Creative Strategy in translating creative vision into scalable systems and workflows.
- Help operationalize creative strategy into repeatable frameworks for AI-powered content production.
- Collaborate across Vocal teams to ensure outputs align with brand voice, cultural relevance, and platform-native storytelling.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across ideation, production, and publishing workflows.
- Build, manage, and optimize AI-driven content production workflows.
- Develop and maintain modular creative systems (prompts, templates, pipelines) to enable consistent, high-volume output.
- Partner with technical and operations teams to integrate tools and reduce manual work across production.
- Test and implement new AI tools and features to improve creative output and efficiency.
- Manage and support a small team focused on AI-assisted content production and automation.
- Provide hands-on guidance in building workflows, using tools, and executing within creative systems.
- Assist in onboarding and training team members on AI tools, automation processes, and best practices.
- Ensure team outputs meet quality, speed, and creative standards.
- Help design and maintain workflows for content production, approvals, and delivery.
- Document systems, processes, and best practices for broader team adoption.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase speed and scalability.
- Partner with Program Managers to align creative workflows with timelines and deliverables.
- Track performance of content and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use insights and data to refine prompts, templates, and production systems.
- Support reporting and feedback loops to continuously improve creative output and efficiency.
- Act as a day-to-day bridge between creative direction and technical execution.
- Collaborate with Social Media Managers and Program Managers to ensure smooth workflow execution.
- Support experimentation efforts by helping turn new ideas into working production systems.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in content creation, creative production, digital operations, or automation-focused roles.
- Strong understanding of short-form, social-first content (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Experience building or maintaining workflows (automation tools like Zapier/Make, or equivalent systems).
- Some experience managing or mentoring others (formal or informal).
- Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills.
- Familiarity with content performance tracking and optimization.
- Ability to balance creative thinking with operational execution.
- Clear communication skills and comfort documenting processes.
- Deep awareness of internet culture, trends, and platform behavior.
- Experience working closely with creative or innovation leadership.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering or modular content systems.
- Exposure to APIs, no-code tools, or lightweight technical integrations.
- Experience in fast-paced, experimental environments.
