Hone has been fully virtual from day one and will continue to be a remote-first employer.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is a mission-driven, motivated multi-tasker who is invested in work that is fulfilling and impactful. They embrace change and tackle challenges with enthusiasm. They have an “all-in” disposition towards work, understanding that we are a fast-paced, high-growth organization with evolving priorities. They can excel at both independent tasks and collaborative work, leading with clear and candid communication. They exhibit humble leadership—the ability to drive initiatives forward while remaining excited about continuous learning and development opportunities. They feel strongly about being part of a team that advocates for people to live longer and better lives.

The Role

Hone is looking for an AI-Driven Talent Acquisition Lead to join our People Ops team. In this role, you will report to the Director of People Ops and own full-cycle recruiting across the organization - spanning both technical and non-technical functions. You’ll be a strategic partner to functional leaders across the business - building pipelines, delivering a best-in-class candidate experience, and helping Hone attract and close exceptional talent in a competitive market. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be both a builder and an executor - shaping how we hire as we scale.

We’re also looking for someone who has proactively sought out AI tools and figured out how to make them work for them - without being asked to, without a roadmap, and probably before their employer had a formal strategy for it. You don’t need a fully built AI-native recruiting function to walk into; you’re excited to help design one. You stay current on a fast-moving landscape because you find it genuinely interesting, and you can speak concretely about how AI has changed the way you work.

Primary Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across a broad range of functions and role types - from kickoff through offer acceptance
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand team needs, role requirements, and hiring bar across a diverse set of disciplines
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build strong pipelines of active and passive candidates across multiple channels (LinkedIn, GEM, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and beyond)
  • Drive a structured, consistent interview process that reflects Hone’s values and sets candidates and hiring managers up for success
  • Negotiate and extend offers in partnership with hiring managers and People Ops, working cross-functionally with legal and compensation stakeholders as needed
  • Maintain clean, accurate data in Greenhouse - use it to track pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, and report on recruiting metrics
  • Contribute to employer branding and candidate experience initiatives that help Hone stand out in the market
  • Help build and refine our recruiting infrastructure as we scale - including process documentation, interview training, and intake frameworks
  • Design, deploy, and improve AI-powered workflows across the recruiting lifecycle - including sourcing assistance, personalized outreach drafting, resume summarization, interview note consolidation, and scheduling automation
  • Own and develop our integration between Claude and Greenhouse, building on existing groundwork to create a more robust, scalable system
  • Train hiring managers on effective, legally compliant use of AI tools in hiring decisions
Qualifications

In order to qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record closing candidates across a variety of functions
  • At least 3 years of in-house recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting in healthtech, digital health, or telemedicine preferred
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (Claude or similar LLM, GEM or similar sourcing tools, etc.) as a regular part of your recruiting workflow - we’re looking for candidates who have sought these tools out on their own initiative and can speak to specific ways they’ve changed how they work, not just familiarity with them in the abstract
  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates through creative, multi-channel approaches
  • Experience managing a dynamic, shifting req load in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse ATS and modern sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter or similar)
  • Strong instincts for candidate quality and culture fit - you ask great questions and assess beyond the resume
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, self-directed approach to learning: you follow developments in AI and recruiting technology because you find it interesting, and you experiment with new tools before you’re asked to
  • Ability to think in systems: when you encounter a manual or repetitive process, you instinctively look for ways to automate or streamline it
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment (experience directly working in a high-growth or startup org is preferred)
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset
  • Can quickly learn new technology systems and communication tools
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Compensation Range

$90,000 – $110,000

Benefits*

Hone wants our team to be in the best condition of their lives, so we offer a range of benefits including:

  • A remote-first work environment
  • Competitive compensation and equity options
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Short-term disability and basic life coverage
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
  • Lifestyle Spending Accounts (LSAs)
  • We follow federal holidays and have uncapped time off for exempt employees
  • Budget for the technology tools you need (laptop, monitor, and/or special software)
  • A focus on company-sponsored activities to foster engagement (both virtual and in-person)
  • Waived membership fees for any Hone team members utilizing Hone products

*These benefits are available to full-time, regular employees, and not to independent contractors, part-time employees, temporary employees, or interns.

We are proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace committed to building a team culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions. Please contact us to request accommodation.
