We are looking for an Amazon Business Manager to lead Amazon merchandising strategy, digital shelf performance, and the customer experience across a portfolio of brands.


This is a highly collaborative, business-focused role for someone who understands how to turn Amazon data, merchandising, content, and customer insights into meaningful commercial results. You will serve as a key business owner for the Amazon channel, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Creative, Operations, Product Development, and external agency partners to drive revenue, conversion, product visibility, and brand excellence.

What You’ll Do

Amazon Strategy & Business Performance

  • Develop and lead Amazon merchandising strategies that drive revenue growth, conversion, customer acquisition, and overall channel performance.
  • Establish merchandising priorities and optimization plans based on performance data, customer behavior, competitive trends, and marketplace opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve assortment, product visibility, customer engagement, and commercial performance.
  • Present business performance, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership.

Digital Shelf & Merchandising

  • Lead digital shelf strategy across Amazon, ensuring products are discoverable, compelling, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Oversee optimization of product detail pages, Brand Stores, A+ Content, imagery, video, and other enhanced content experiences.
  • Establish merchandising standards and processes that ensure consistency and quality across Amazon properties.
  • Continuously evaluate the customer journey and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion.

Content & Customer Experience

  • Lead Amazon content strategy to strengthen product storytelling, search visibility, and customer engagement.
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, and agency teams to prioritize and optimize product imagery, video, A+ Content, and Brand Store experiences.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand positioning, Amazon requirements, and evolving customer expectations.

Analytics & Insights

  • Monitor key performance indicators including traffic, conversion, sales trends, search performance, content effectiveness, inventory positioning, and customer engagement.
  • Use Amazon analytics, Google Analytics, Looker, and other business intelligence tools to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve revenue, profitability, and customer experience.

Product Launches & Promotions

  • Lead Amazon merchandising strategy and readiness for new product launches across multiple brands.
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch efforts and ensure products are fully prepared for market.
  • Evaluate launch performance and implement optimization strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop promotional merchandising strategies that maximize visibility, conversion, and revenue during key selling periods.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, assortment optimization, and incremental growth.

Cross-Functional & Agency Leadership

  • Build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Creative, Operations, Product Development, and other teams.
  • Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, execution, and digital shelf performance.
  • Manage external agency relationships and hold partners accountable to agreed-upon metrics, priorities, and business outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, E-Commerce, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Amazon merchandising, e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online retail.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
  • Proven success developing and executing Amazon merchandising strategies that drive revenue and business performance.
  • Experience managing multiple brands, product categories, or consumer product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon merchandising, digital shelf optimization, content strategy, and customer experience.
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and external partners preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, project management, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and growth.

Tools & Technology

Experience with the following is preferred:

  • Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central
  • Amazon Retail Analytics
  • Google Analytics
  • Looker or similar business intelligence platforms
  • Microsoft Office 365, including advanced Excel
  • Media Valet or similar digital asset management systems
  • Wrike, Asana, or comparable project management platforms

Additional Information


This position may occasionally require extended hours, including evenings or weekends, based on business needs. Domestic travel may also be required.
