HomeVision is helping the home valuation and appraisal industry work more efficiently and bring equity and transparency to the US housing market. We’re funded by Initialized Capital and seeing good traction and revenue growth. Our team is growing and we are looking for a talented Support Engineer.

This role requires strong empathy for the user and an ability to think holistically about the product. You’ll also be comfortable diving in to technical details to improve the product, tooling, and support processes.

What you’ll do:

Your primary role will be to handle incoming customer support requests. You will be responsible for answering questions, updating system configuration, and troubleshooting. In addition, you will take on software development and process improvements during downtime to create support tooling and modify product functionality. Whenever possible you will be looking to not just solve the proximate issue but to eliminate the issue or reduce the time to handle the issue going forward.

What you’ll bring:
  • Solid understanding of the fundamentals of software engineering

  • Ability to handle complex situations

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing

  • A drive to learn and grow with a mindset of continuous improvement

  • Consistent and dependable attendance, with flexibility to work the early shift (6:00 AM PT start) or the afternoon shift (6:00 PM PT end).

  • Residing in the United States, including Puerto Rico

  • Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship

  • Commercial software development experience

  • Customer service/support experience
