Minth Group is a global Tier‑1 supplier with a strong manufacturing and engineering footprint across North America (United States, Mexico, Canada) and global operations in Asia and Europe. Building on its leadership in automotive systems and advanced manufacturing, Minth is expanding into robotics, AI server cooling systems, advanced power and energy systems, and other non‑automotive growth areas.

This is a customer-facing and supplier-facing technical role responsible for supporting the development and manufacturing feasibility of plastic, metal, and structural components for next-generation products. This position bridges customer requirements, product concepts, and real manufacturing capability, supported by Minth’s North America plants and global engineering resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate technical and manufacturing feasibility of plastic, metal, and structural parts and components for robotics, AI cooling, power/energy, and other next-generation applications

  • Support product design, material selection, process selection, design-for-manufacturing, and engineering trade-off discussions

  • Work directly with customers and suppliers to understand technical requirements, diagnose problems, and develop practical engineering solutions

  • Identify technical and manufacturing risks early and communicate clearly to internal teams and customers

  • Participate in customer technical discussions, RFIs, and RFQs

  • Support early project nomination activities through technical clarification and feasibility presentations

  • Work with sales and strategy teams as the technical interface for new product and manufacturing opportunities

  • Translate customer requirements into clear actions for Minth’s internal product, engineering, and manufacturing teams

  • Recognize where Minth’s existing engineering and manufacturing capabilities can solve a customer problem or create a new business opportunity

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience in product design, manufacturing, process engineering, application engineering, or a closely related function

  • Experience working with manufactured hardware products, ideally involving plastic, metal, structural, or mechanical components

  • Strong understanding of how products are designed, manufactured, and brought into production

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in customer and internal settings

  • Ability to learn new products, processes, and applications quickly rather than being limited to one specific component or end market

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Injection molding or tooling experience

  • Familiarity with automotive or industrial plastic materials (PA, PBT, PP, PC, ABS, etc.)

  • Experience supporting RFQs or customer engineering discussions

  • Experience working directly with customers and/or suppliers in a technical capacity

  • Experience with product design, DFM, process engineering, manufacturing launch, or production problem-solving
