Applied ML Engineer

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an ML Engineer with 4–8 years of experience building and owning production AI and ML systems used by real people. You’re comfortable working with traditional ML and you’ve shipped systems with clear quality metrics and business impact. You have strong judgment around evaluation and know how to measure what actually matters when considering product priorities. Experience with large-scale retrieval, ranking, NLP, or personalization systems is a plus.

What you’ll do

• Research and build AI/ML systems that power matchmaking, ranking, and automation across the Paraform marketplace.

• Own model development end-to-end, from data collection and labeling strategies to deployment, monitoring, and iteration in production.

• Partner with product, AI engineers, and full-stack teams to ship systems that directly move marketplace metrics.

• Build and maintain robust evaluation frameworks to continuously measure quality, bias, reliability, and business impact.

• Set technical direction and best practices for AI/ML at Paraform.

• Work with other engineers and raise the bar for how AI systems are designed, shipped, and maintained.
