IDEALFORCE has a Contract-To-Hire position available immediately for a Java Developer to join our customer in Santa Clara, CA. This is an ONSITE position. This is a senior development role which requires hands-on design and development on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related technical area
- 8+ years of experience with design and development of software primarily using Java technologies: Java SE, JEE, JPA, JAXB, JMS, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, XSD, XML, WSDL
- 3+ years of experience with design and development of web services – REST, SOAP based
- Experience with XML, XSD, JSON based design and development, and parsing XML and JSON from Java applications
- Experience with object-oriented design and development, and a good understanding of principles of service oriented architecture
- Experience working with RDBMS and SQL, and working knowledge of web and application servers
- Some experience working with GUI technologies – Javascript, AJAX, JQUERY, HTML, JSP, ADF
- Experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems as a development and deployment environment
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge or experience with networking concepts and technologies is a plus – L2, L3, TCP/IP, SNMP
- Knowledge or experience with virtualization technologies is a plus
