Position Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents to help deliver public works and commercial construction projects from pre construction through closeout.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure to every phase of construction while working directly with company leadership in an environment where initiative, accountability, and professional growth are encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Assist with overall project management from buyout through closeout
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, owners, and design teams
- Support budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost tracking
- Participate in project meetings and maintain project documentation
- Assist with contract administration and project reporting
- Visit jobsites regularly to support field operations
- Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience
- Experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
- Public works experience preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
- Experience with ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to continue learning and growing professionally
