This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given business need, to work occasionally overtime or weekends.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work telecommute * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Willingness to work standard business hours in EST, CST, or MST required.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts
  • Acts as outward-facing, dedicated resources for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact (not call center) and large or complex accounts
  • Build relationships with employer/group clients (not individual members) and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day-to-day service delivery
  • Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs
  • This function includes employees who are in dedicated on-site service roles
  • Account management jobs focused primarily on relationship and service management belong in this family; jobs with significant sales responsibilities or sales-related incentives (including 'OTH' plans) belong in a sales band
  • Generally, work is self-directed and not prescribed
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Serves as a resource for others

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • 2+ years of experience in account management and building customer relationships
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time for client visits
  • Access to reliable transportation & possess a valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree

Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
