Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our collaborative, client-focused team. Our office is located at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful beach view just a two-minute walk from The Strand and the sand. Compensation is negotiable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Report to Managing Attorney Andrew Ryan and Associate Attorney Jason Kayne
• Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, including pre-litigation and litigation
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft and argue motions, including discovery motions and motions for summary judgment
• Appear for case management conferences and hearings
• Develop case strategies and evaluate case value based on liability and damages
• Collaborate with legal assistants and case managers
• Maintain proactive and empathetic client communication throughout litigation
• Prepare for and attend mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
• Represent clients at trial, with support from managing attorney as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education & Experience:
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
• At least 2 years of litigation experience in personal injury or related civil litigation
• Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
• Must be able to commute to and work in-person at our Manhattan Beach office
Location: Manhattan Beach, CA
Salary and Schedule:
• Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, plus performance-based benefits
• Work hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
