Position Purpose:
To manage high quality, centralized, standardized end to end P&O operations within a multi-country organization. To lead operational excellence, user experience and integrated end-to-end service delivery of P&O processes and systems within Sandoz in line with local legal and statutory requirements.
Lead service delivery to ensure we meet all SLAs for Payroll, H2R and T&A for India and China. Lead Change management and communication for SIR region.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Contribute to the development of a country/regional P&O Services strategy. Implement and adapt regional P&O Services agenda, aligned with the global P&O strategy in country organization and drive continuous improvement to meet business/customer needs.
- Provide counsel and strategic recommendations on the design and implementation of P&O Services.
- Manage the efficient implementation of processes and standards for all P&O Services aspects (e.g. services, processes, continuous improvement) in close cooperation with the respective stakeholders, as required.
- Manage the provision of P&O Services to the organization, based on expectations set with Unit P&O / others as relevant and ensure that roles and responsibilities for processes end-to-end are clearly defined and understood.
- Manage the budget/resource allocation for the area of responsibility.
- Analyze and identify potential design improvements (in cooperation with P&O), providing change management support and appropriate communications for the implementation of new services and processes.
- Conduct periodic cost and efficiency analyses to support productivity objectives, monitor, initiate additional activities if required -Manage the performance and talent development of direct reports and contribute to talent development of indirect reports -Manage various P&O Services projects.
- Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor/master's degree in HR/Accounting/ Business or related field is preferred (master's degree is preferred) with 5 years of working experience in Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is a must.
- Excellent English spoken and written; Fluency in one of the regional languages is an added advantage.
- 2-3 years’ experience in leading mid-size country or regional teams.
- HRIS system (SAP or Workday) knowledge and experience preferred but not a must.
- Experience with transformation initiatives and transition projects is a must.
- Experience managing systems and services vendors. Multiple country HR regulations knowledge.
Desirable requirements:
• Ability to work effectively across all levels and layers of the organization. Work experience in virtual/remote teams preferred. Comfortable working in a complex and constantly evolving work environment.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and sound judgement, in addition to high level attention to detail, analysing information, thoroughness, general math and reporting skills is a must.
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills
