We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented iOS Developer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our mobile engineering team. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to build, enhance, and maintain high-quality iOS applications used by real customers at scale.

This role is ideal for someone who has shipped production apps, understands iOS fundamentals, and is eager to grow within a collaborative, feedback-driven environment.

Location - San Diego

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications using Swift

  • Build modern, responsive UI using SwiftUI and UIKit

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend, and other mobile developers) to define and implement new features

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions

  • Debug and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and crashes

  • Contribute to architectural improvements and technical documentation

  • Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards

Required Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of professional experience developing iOS applications

  • Strong proficiency in Swift

  • Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit

  • Solid understanding of:

    • MVVM or similar architectural patterns

    • RESTful APIs and networking

    • Asynchronous programming (GCD, async/await, or Combine)

    • App lifecycle and memory management

  • Experience integrating third-party libraries and SDKs

  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows

  • Experience shipping at least one production app (App Store or enterprise)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Firebase or similar backend services

  • Experience with Apple’s Bluetooth frameworks (Core Bluetooth, AccessorySetupKit, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Swift Concurrency and modern dependency management (e.g., Swift Package Manager)

  • Unit/UI testing experience (XCTest, Swift Testing, or similar frameworks)

  • CI/CD pipeline familiarity

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Knowledge of performance optimization and debugging tools (Instruments, Xcode profiling tools)

  • Exposure to accessibility best practices

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. 

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is: $89,000 - $133,000
