As an Associate Event Marketing Manager – Communications on Datadog’s Events team, you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic, on-brand communications that elevate DASH—our flagship annual conference—and our global Datadog Summit series. You'll help execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive registration, engagement, and attendance while reinforcing Datadog’s value across every event touchpoint. This is a high-impact opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented marketer to sharpen their skills in event marketing, communications, and cross-functional program management.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the end-to-end development of event communications for DASH and Datadog Summits, with a focus on registration growth and attendee engagement
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop on-brand marketing assets—including banners, social graphics, and promotional videos—for global use
  • Manage campaign execution and communications workflows, partnering with Marketing Operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing and demand generation to support organic and paid campaign execution that drives awareness and pipeline
  • Partner with regional and localization teams to deliver in-language event communications for global Summits
  • Create internal enablement materials—talking points, FAQs, messaging—to align GTM teams around event goals and updates

Who You Are:

  • 1–3+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, digital marketing, or corporate communications—ideally in B2B SaaS or a technical environment
  • A strong communicator with a clear, concise writing style and the ability to translate event value to technical audiences across channels
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with project management strengths and comfort working within structured workflows, approvals, and SLAs
  • Design-aware and visually attuned—you know how to build clean decks and communicate information clearly and effectively
  • Skilled at collaborating cross-functionally and managing feedback from diverse stakeholders
  • Familiar with event and marketing tools such as Cvent, Airtable, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, and analytics platforms like Metabase or Tableau
  • This position requires up to 25% travel for business purposes, which may include domestic and/or international travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
