The Associate/Senior Associate, Global Market Strategist will support the team's economic, market, and asset allocation research. Working closely with senior strategists, this individual will monitor economic and market developments, conduct and assist research, maintain analytical resources, and contribute to the verbal and written preparation of thought leadership and client-facing materials.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong economics and quantitative skills who is interested in applying those skills in an investment management setting.
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct economic, market, and policy research to support the team's investment views and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Monitor macroeconomic developments, geopolitical events, market trends, and key economic indicators.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze economic and financial market data
  • Maintain economic databases, dashboards, and recurring analytical reports used by the team.
  • Produce charts, exhibits, data visualizations, and supporting analysis for presentations, publications, and internal discussions.
  • Draft market commentary, outlooks, presentations, webinars, podcasts, and other thought leadership content.
  • Support responses to market events, client questions, and internal business requests through timely research and data analysis.
  • Help manage the team's editorial and publication process, including coordination with marketing, compliance, and investment teams.

What You'll Bring:
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in economics, finance, investment research, public policy, or a related analytical field.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or a related discipline required.
  • Master's degree in economics, finance, public policy, or a related field preferred.
  • Progress or interest in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of economics, financial markets, and investment concepts, with demonstrated interest in continuing to develop expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with economic and financial data and translate findings into clear conclusions.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information into concise summaries.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Macrobond, or similar market and economic data platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; a self-starter mindset.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in economics, markets, and asset management.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $75,000-$110,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
