As an Associate GTM Engineer, you'll lead architectural efforts for AI-native systems, develop GTM solutions, and support end-to-end campaign execution.
Only the best engineers are being built here.
At Productboard, we're building the place where AI-first engineering gets defined. Removing every bottleneck as it surfaces, we are fundamentally reimagining what's possible when AI becomes a first-class partner, not a tool. This is where product engineers learn to operate at their highest level in the AI era.
You'd lead the architectural work that makes our codebase AI-native. Specifically:
- Agent-native architecture standards. Clear API contracts, semantic naming, well-defined module boundaries. The patterns that keep AI effective as our systems grow.
- A context infrastructure layer. Repo-versioned guidance that AI tools load automatically — improving the output of Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex simultaneously.
- Self-healing workflows for incidents. Agents that triage alerts, pull logs, surface relevant history, suggest remediation. Humans intervene where judgment matters.
- Agent workflows that go beyond chat. Multi-step reasoning, tool use, autonomous task execution with human-gated checkpoints — for product features, not internal demos.
- Systematic optimization of AI code review. Earlier detection of correctness, security, and maintainability issues, with the noise filtered out before it reaches a human reviewer.
Productboard is seeking an Associate GTM Engineer. This is a unique role where most of the requirements are flexible but the fundamental core skillset required is a builder’s mindset with the ability to learn, deploy, and organize new technologies and platforms.
The ideal candidate is not necessarily someone with many years of experience, because much of the tech stack you will own may not have existed a year ago. If your career is just getting started but you have a history of building interesting things and constantly learning new technology, this is the role for you.
The gap between professionals who are building with AI daily and those who are still watching is widening fast. At Productboard, you won't just use AI tools. You will shape the architecture that makes AI agents effective, define the workflows that make them reliable, and build the evaluation systems that make them trustworthy. You will work in an environment where AI first is not a future aspiration. It is the current standard.
The skills you build here, agent native design, multi-model orchestration, eval-driven development, AI-ready codebase architecture, are the skills that will define senior engineering for the next decade.
