The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location: 1690 BARTON ROAD, Redlands CA 85027
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answer all incoming calls for appointments using professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
  • Schedule patient requests for appointments in accordance with physician and/or department requirements, and coordinate these appointments with applicable departments as required
  • Identify and apply changes in patient information, including patient address, phone number, name, insurance company, etc. following company procedures
  • Identify insurance plans that require referrals and engage the necessary process on behalf of the patient or EPIC
  • Reschedule appointments as required
  • Distribute patient questionnaires as needed
  • Assist in training new employees in the proper process and procedures as directed by the Appointments Supervisor
  • Cross training with another department as needed
  • Assist in recording and processing referrals, web appointments, and other departmental paperwork as required
  • Discuss with patient that balance of account is due at check-in
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 6+ months of experience in customer service
  • Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
