ROLE OVERVIEW

NETGEAR is looking for a motivated and collaborative Associate Product Manager to join our global product team. Based in San Jose, CA, this role offers the opportunity to take real ownership of key product and feature areas while contributing directly to strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market execution.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, as well as engage with executive leadership, to define and bring your product vision to life. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow while driving meaningful product impact in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own strategy, planning, and delivery for assigned product and feature areas across NETGEAR's global product portfolio.

• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and inform data-driven decision-making.

• Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure alignment from concept through launch.

• Author clear user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and product documentation.

• Present plans and progress to executive leadership and serve as the internal champion for your product area.

• Drive execution through agile practices and cross-functional collaboration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years of practical experience in the technology sector or consumer product industries.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels.

• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail.

• Ability to articulate product ideas clearly and produce effective product documentation.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate productivity and output.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, Post-MBA or MS in Computer Science strongly preferred.

• Previous internship or work experience in product management or business strategy within a technology company.

LOCATION

This is a hybrid role based at NETGEAR's headquarters in San Jose, CA, requiring 3 days on-site per week.
