Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Program Coordinator to join our team! In this remote, early-career role, you will provide coordination and program-office support for Parsons’ execution of the FAA’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System. You will work closely with program leadership, project managers, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and other functional organizations to support staffing, hiring, onboarding, reporting, project coordination, and other program initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional interested in developing project management and program operations skills. The successful candidate will be expected to learn quickly, take ownership of assigned tasks, communicate effectively, solve problems, and progressively assume greater responsibility.
T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5, T5, to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work supports the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan, reimbursable programs, FAA modernization initiatives, national security programs, and aviation safety. Work includes engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services across the National Airspace System.
What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support program-office activities related to staffing, hiring, onboarding, project coordination, reporting, and other assigned initiatives.
  • Work with program leadership, project managers, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, hiring managers, interview teams, and other functional organizations to coordinate activities and maintain accurate status information.
  • Assist with high-volume hiring activities, including candidate tracking, interview scheduling, feedback collection, follow-up, and onboarding coordination.
  • Maintain staffing plans, requisition logs, candidate trackers, interview schedules, onboarding records, action-item lists, and other program-management tools.
  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets, trackers, reports, charts, presentations, and other tools used to organize information and communicate program status.
  • Assist with project plans, schedules, milestones, action items, risks, issues, and status reporting for assigned activities.
  • Track actions and deadlines, identify missing information or potential delays, and coordinate follow-up with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, status updates, and other program documentation.
  • Support special hiring campaigns, workforce initiatives, process improvements, and other program-office projects.
  • Conduct research, data gathering, and basic analysis in support of program activities and management decisions.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, identify needed follow-up, ask appropriate questions, and drive work through completion.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of related experience, or a four-year degree in business, project management or a related field with 1+ years of related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, tables, charts, and data organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and other standard business tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new processes, systems, and subject matter quickly.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and follow activities through completion.
  • Professional judgment and ability to appropriately handle personnel, candidate, customer, and business information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and travel occasionally to support program or business needs.
  • Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by federal authorities may be performed.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in project coordination, business operations, recruiting, human resources, government, consulting, engineering, technology, or another professional environment.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, schedules, projects, records, or activities involving multiple participants and deadlines.
  • Experience developing spreadsheets, reports, presentations, dashboards, or other management tools.
  • Familiarity with project-management concepts such as schedules, milestones, action items, risks, and status reporting.
  • Experience supporting aviation, transportation, federal government, defense, infrastructure, or technology programs is helpful but not required.
  • Demonstrated interest in developing a career in project management, program management, or business operations.

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14
