Job Overview

This role supports the development and deployment of software solutions that meet customer requirements and operate in scalable, highly available environments. The role involves designing, implementing, and testing software components using technologies such as virtualization, microservices, software-defined networking, network functions virtualization, and big data platforms. The position requires collaboration with engineering teams and adherence to detailed instructions under close supervision to complete routine technical assignments.
The role will also contribute to developing and supporting processes, systems, and software solutions used by front-line call center organizations supporting prepaid and postpaid business operations. Success is measured by the ability to deliver functional software stacks, maintain clear documentation, and contribute to continuous system improvements. The work impacts organizational capabilities by enabling advanced software solutions that enhance system performance and support business objectives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement software solutions to meet customer requirements and support scalable, highly available environments.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver software solutions and communicate technical ideas effectively.
  • Contribute to the understanding and application of current and emerging technologies to support business goals.
  • Identify and share ideas for system analysis and continuous improvement of existing processes and services.
  • Develop, test, and support software components using applicable front-end and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java.
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years Technical engineering experience. (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $73,590 - $132,660

National Base Pay Range: $66,900 - $120,600

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results. 

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance. Actual earnings included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflect target performance; actual payouts may vary.
